A Women's History Month reception was hosted by President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. In Battle Creek, Michigan, the Binder Park Zoo is currently hiring for the 2024 season and hosted a job fair to find potential candidates who are passionate about animals and conservation.

The zoo's Director of Operations, Renee Newman, expressed the importance of hiring individuals who align with their mission of connecting people with nature and inspiring conservation efforts. The zoo is looking to fill positions in various areas such as food service, guest service, field service, retail, transportation, and ropes course.
