Visit the Zoo Day
Join in the celebration of Visit the Zoo Day, a national holiday observed on December 27th. On this day, the Utica Zoo has a special treat in store for visitors. You can participate in a thrilling scavenger hunt with a prize waiting for you at the end. In addition, there will be fascinating animal presentations and educational stations for everyone to enjoy. The zoo will be open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., giving you plenty of time to explore and have fun.
Noon Year's Eve
On December 31st, the Utica Zoo welcomes the new year with a unique event called Noon Year's Eve. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., you can join in the festivities. The highlight of this celebration is the countdown to noon, followed by an enrichment “ball drop” at the Camel Exhibit. You can also look forward to engaging in animal enrichment activities, visiting education stations, roasting marshmallows over a campfire, and enjoying a bubbly toast.
